Because they will be what they see, the 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock promotes continuing education.

The Little Rock Chapter of the 100 Black Men of America welcomes you to its website. We are one of more than 102 chapters worldwide that have dedicated its time and resources to improving our respective communities.

Specifically, our chapter has accepted the challenge from the National Board of Directors to become fully engaged in implementing our four pillars: 1) Mentoring, 2) Education, 3) Health and Wellness, and 4) Economic Development. To this end, we have adopted an inner city elementary school that is predominantly black.

Our goal is to work through Rightsell Elementary to positively impact the young minds of more than 200 students. Hopefully, they will leave Rightsell with a commitment and indeed a desire to learn and understand what it means as well as why it is important to be good citizens.

Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas exemplifies the mission of the 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock to educate, mentor, and develop young black men and women.

Our most important challenge is to create in each student a mindset that motivates them to change their lifestyle. We must help them understand how important it is to eat healthy, to make good grades, to help their friends and family through good citizenship and to give back once they have developed successful careers. As part of this initiative, we will exhaust every effort to involve the community especially parents.

We appreciate your interest and invite you to visit our chapter by contacting any of our members that you may know. Our officers are always willing to discuss our chapter's activities.
